okechuks22: quentin06: Shows that you guys don't even know the problem. How will you be able to proffer a solution? It's transmission that went offline. It is owned by govt. |

blank: Transmission is privatized govt only owns 40%, we know the problem in the sector, the Nepa was sold to incompetent cronies. |

quentin06: Transmission is 100% govt. They can only lease it to a mgt firm but can't sell it for now because of the ramifications to other parts of the value chain. |

hatchy: You don't know South Africa if you think it has fewer resources. And how does one claim that Zimbabwe is in better shape when they don't even have a currency? The countries that you listed had infrastructure built for a small number of people - there's prosperity in South Africa but also grinding poverty for the black majority (and an increasing number of whites). Kenya is home to Africa's largest slum and regular election violence. The other difference between those places and Nigeria is that of population, especially population growth. Nigerians are in denial about the problem that the rapid population growth has caused - how does one expect progress when the number of Nigerians has doubled in 25 years? And why do so many people kick against the introduction of birth control and limits on the number of children? The politicians can keep playing Nigerians because of the desperation of so many that is fueled by the irresponsible breeding. Same goes for the useless religious and traditional leaders, none of whom do anything to justify the adulation that they receive. As to your claim that Nigeria was given independence too soon - that is true for the north. The south was ready. The South West had made strides that other places had not in the 1950s - they had their own television station before most of the world, free universal education before most of the world and Lagos was a safe, bustling city. But because of the rapid population growth Lagos has been put under considerable strain and the other states, especially those int he middle belt and the north are not doing enough to improve economic indices. 1 Like |

blank: No need to be cocky, TCN is not a government owned company, it was incorporated in 2005. Its a private organization, just because govt has some stake in it and has a minister sitting on the board doesnt mean it a government organization. Go to their website and see for your self and remember we can read. |

quentin06: Here i was thinking that was i discussing with a reasonable person. Is there anywhere on their website that they mentioned any of the investors? Are they on the board? It was incorporated in 2005 from NEPA and given a licence doesn't make it private. If you really can read, kindly do so. It is 100% a govt institution. |

sorry1: Use the $50m y'all hid in the apartment in Lagos. You're crooks and criminals and your leaders know how evil minded you all are so they treat you accordingly by leaving you in the dark. |
