Cropland Agro-Industrial Park is a designed green rural-urban farm cluster enabling environment for every farmers to Own an Outgrower Plantation.
Cropland Agro-Industrial Parks is an off-shoot of a two years collaborative initiative and campaigning of Green rural-urban agricultural plantation and industrial development opportunity (GRAPIDO) by Sacelprecious Farms Limited aimed at empowering banana and plantain farmers in the Nigeria with a pilot project in Edo State as well as grow the economy. The programme provides the banana and plantain farmers with inputs such as Suitable Farmlands, Planting material (Suckers/plantlets), Fertilizers, Irrigations, Farm rangers security, Agricultural Insurance, Technical extension advice and Buy back guarantee for the farmers. The project focuses to create an extensive commercial farming block by providing local people with skills, tools, farmland and with supporting infrastructure; to develop and support the outgrower scheme that feeds into the commercial farm. Collaboration with the local people guarantees the success of the project.
The Structure
Under the own an outgrower plantation, registered banana and plantain farmers produce banana and plantain bunches with input supplied by Sacelprecious Farms Limited. Sacelprecious Farms will, in turn, off-take the bananas and plantains that are produced by the participating Outgrower farmers.
The programme workflow involves the following:
• An Outgrower Farmers Lease the farmland for N7,500 per hectare yearly and Share Mechanized Clearing Costs.
• The farmland and Growers license is inspected by Sacelprecious Farms Officials to ascertain that it meets required standards and specification
• Following the certification of individual farmers of their farmland for supply by Sacelprecious Farms officials, the Outgrower farmers become eligible to collect Improved Suckers, Fertilizers and other inputs to run the plantation
• Farmers grow their crops to attain standard weight of 10kg for plantain and 30kg for banana within 9months
• Sacelprecious Farms provide the farmers a ready market through a buy-back mechanism

Eligibility And Participation
Eligibility
• Prospective Outgrower farmers must be a member of Banana and Plantain Farmers Regulation Association of Nigeria (BAPFAN).
• Outgrower Farmers must maintain appropriate plantation standard with capacity to grow a minimum of 4,000 stands with corresponding Technique (Pruning, Weeding and Fertilization) required.
• Farmers shall apply for participation through BAPFAN to Sacelprecious Farms.
• Outgrower Farmers shall agree to comply with technical advice as provided by Sacelprecious Farms on the management of the crops.
How to Participate
OWN AN OUTGROWER PLANTATION is open to all eligible Banana and Plantain farmers in Nigeria. To participate in the programme, interested farmers should:
1. Be a member of Banana and Plantain Farmers Regulation Association of Nigeria(BAPFAN).
2. Obtain the OWN AN OUTGROWER PLANTATION Form from the Association or Sacelprecious Farms
3. Lease a Farmland from Cropland Agro Industrial Park and Clear the land for planting
4. Get approval and accreditation for the plantation
5. Collect Improved Treated Suckers and inputs from Sacelprecious Farms
6. Start managing the Banana and Plantain Plantation Or Choose a farm Manager in Cropland Agro Industrial Park at a cost of N360,000 per hectare a year.
