Kudos Ambode. Yet some fools from the yeast will start comparing him with Obiano cry kiss cry
Lagos is a former capital of Nigeria with over 25 millions inhabitants with a budget of over 600 billion.... Comparing Ambode with Obino who govern a state of 5 millions inhabitants and budget of less than 200 billion is a crass stupidity

[quote author=Kulas post=56613553]Ambode,you have really relieved us of Ajah traffic,i want to tell you that we are so happy for this. You have proven that within two years in office, you are better than fashola.Thank you sir and may God continue to bless you.[/quote sentiment apart, ambode is better than Fashola in governors. One thing I like in him is that he pays attention to things that directly affect people. See his efforts in managing traffic

Nap. What crass stupidity really is is igbos not moving back to their villages. Isn't Biafra the so called promise land?. Small time now some eediot peple will come and say na igbos develop Lagos. When that one tire them dem go say Lagos has a lot in taxes and investments. Then they'll quickly move to say Lagos na no man's land.

These stupid sense of reasoning put together will never make the igbos see any meaningful growth in life.

They blame themselves for Lagos successes. They beat their chests on top Lagos's rapid growth and development. But never for once have they ever beaten the hairy chest to say "by our own making we built igbo land".

Off course, the contractor has to be HiTech, Tinubu's road construction company.

Hitech the official Contractor of Lagos state with sole right to do all roads in Lekki, Victoria and Ikoyi.

newsynews:
The Jubilee Bridge, Ajah has been officially commissioned for use. This was done by the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. The Bridge will help eliminate the traffic jam usually experienced in the axis. The bridge is a top class infrastructure that will facilitate the movement of people, goods and materials as it replaces the roundabout that use to be there. The commissioning of the bridge is one of series of projects getting commissioned by the Governor ahead of the Lagos at 50 celebrations.

is this the one leading to awoyaya?

I still find it difficult to fathom why in this country we ceremoniously commission social infrastructures that are meant to be provided for the people in the first place. These infrastructures are built with our tax money and are obligations by the government anyway, so why the ceremony? So we must celebrate them for doing their work or what? The way we celebrate mediocrity in this country is something else. Its like a father, commissioning paying the school fees of his child or paying the bills at home! For Christ sake, you (goverment) are meant to provide these things so why the celebration? Gaaaaawdd!

Commissioning of a bridge? I can't believe these politicians are under the bridge for this ceremonial event. I wish Donald Trump and The British Prime Minister could as well do more of these and copy this from Nigeria! At least we have a better culture and tradition to offer the world! What about genuine programme to truely improve the lives of average Lagosians?? Well, if you are a residence in Lagos and wise enough, u will use your tongue to count your teeth and move out to farming settlement. No doubt Lagos is a beautiful place, Except your in Lagos to start counting bridges! you go count and you go tire!

If You Know what's good for you, Just head straight to the farm

Do you realise that the lack of a bridge in that area, caused hapless citizens to spend almost 3 hours each day in a gridlock on that road? For once, govt has done something good by building a bridge that would eliminate the traffic and wasted man hours spent on that route.

Kindly applaud the the effort. He just solved a traffic gridlock problem. Your comparison with US isn't necessary. We are miles apart. Pls let the comparison be with the Likes of South-Africa,Morocco etc

Exactly! cheesy Thanks bro'. You really know that road, and how it used to be, before the bridge was built! sad

they also need to start restricting lanes and routes used by the huge trailers that usually cause traffic havoc and even contribute to the speed up in the wear and tear of the roads!!!!
