Transfers Files On Infinix Smartphones Using Xshare. by ishittu: 3:57pm On May 17, 2017
There are a number of ways you can transfer files between smartphones. The most common of them all is using Bluetooth which has a limitation, it is slow depending on the file size. To solve this problem and some others, Infinix developed the ‘X-share application'

X-share is a dedicated app that aids file transfer from one phone to another by utilising the WiFi functionality, this allows for faster data communication. X-share uses the QR technology which makes Peer to Peer Transfer easy, convenient and super fast.

All Infinix smartphones are pre-installed with the ‘Xshare App’ which is prefaced with the Customised User Interface XOS. The App is also available in the Google Play store for other Android smartphone users to have access to the free app.

How to Send a File with Xshare

There are two options:
First - To transfer a file (image/document), locate the file you want to send, tap on the share icon at the top right corner and Select XShare.

Second - To share any files (Image, video, Application or document) Simply open the Xshare App, Click on Send Files, Locate the files you want to share, Select all of them. Click Confirm at the bottom right corner of your Smartphone screen. Then the receiving device should scan the QR code begin the transfer process.

Receiving a File
There are two options:
First - Scan the QR code which appears on the Senders Phone or selects “Search Nearby” to scan for the sender.

In case the recipient does not have the Xshare app, the sender can share the App via Bluetooth to the recipient’s phone (Find the 'Share the app option'' when you open the app).

Access received files
Tap on the icon in the extreme top right corner to view the files received. The files are classified according to their types.
