While speaking in a Channels Television programme “Politics Today” on Wednesday night, the Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on National Assembly matters, Ita Enang, revealed that the president who is far away in London for medical vacation, will be the one to sign the 2017 national budget. They wud be surprised at d forces that wud gather to oppose using d authority of a sick president to govern Nigeria by proxy and deceit. We now know Buhari is a bad economic manager. We also now know that while he has largely decimated BH,Buhari has no plan or strategy to defeat d Fulani herdsmen countrywide rampage,and other security concerns now plaguing Nigeria. We also av come to realise that while he may av set out to fight corruption,his has been an openly selective fight,sparing party,family,clan and associates while going against others,making it a sham anticorruption fight. Therefore the only remaining thing that Buhari still has is a perception he still has some modicum of integrity,but d events concerning his health is also tending to rob him of d only remaining aspect of his totally demystified personae and whatever competence some of us thought he had. He shud save his legacy by ceding power totally to Osinbajo and telling those using his office for their own selfish desires,to keep off! |
