I am not my mistake

I choose to believe,
I have the right to be wrong.
Just because I make a mistake does not mean
I am a mistake.

There is nothing wrong with being wrong
but there is something wrong
with not making the necessary adjustment
to get things right.

I am awesome just the way I am
and its time I fully express my awesomeness.
I am precious and created in my
mother’s womb by God’s own hands.

I choose to let my ideas fail
without turning them into personal defeat.
I am not lacking as a human being
just because I lack certain knowledge or skill.

My ideas may fail
My knowledge may reveal its limit.
My skills may prove their inadequacy.
None of that is the real me.

I am a work in progress
I am a valuable person with a great future.
No matter how many times I trip up,
I will always get up again.

I choose to believe, I can be free from my past
and not be limited by it.
I am not bound by my mistakes of the past
and I choose not to be a slave of my past.

I choose to stop defining myself
by what happened in the past
and by what other people say about me.
My Heavenly Father says I am saved and renewed.

I choose to disallow the memories of my past
from stopping me and I choose to drop
whatever does not inspire me in my past.
The old life is gone; a new life burgeons!

I choose to believe,
failure is an event and not a person.
I choose to concentrate on my goals
rather than worry about my failures.

I choose to learn to grow from my past mistakes,
disappointments, pain and experiences.
I am not to be defeated by failure
but to be inspired by it.

I choose not to allow my mistakes
deprive or discourage me.
I choose to believe failure is the opportunity
to begin again more intelligently.

I am not my mistake
