The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu revealed the plans during a speech in Nigeria’s capital city Abuja. Currently Nigeria shares resources from its space assets, such as satellite imagery through the use of their National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) satellites. Onu claims the program would create 400,000 jobs. |
