In my humble opinion, the best thing that can happen to Nigeria in this new decade is for Nigeria to crash out of the tournament early, and not win it.
That would cause intense dissatisfaction in the Nigerian populace that could hopefully lead to the President's antics not being tolerated anymore,
as well as Ahmodu Shuaibu, the coach, being fired.

On the flip side, the worst thing that could happen to Nigeria is to win the cup, causing a wave of euphoria that would cause the people to forget the current hardships they're enduring, and to continue to allow themselves to be short-changed and basically 'raped' by corrupt politicans.
