Jim Ike is a foolish man for supporting this liepod terrorist leader.
And this is how you've dedicated your life to fighting a man and course that you know nothing about. The worst is that Kanu does not know if you exist and may never will.

Your inconsequential hate-filled ignorant life is becoming a source of nuisance to sane minds here.

You are half right.

Here is the correct explanation:

In Igbo culture, every freeborn is equal. So nobody is made a servant. Rather, anytime kola nut is presented by the owner of the house (the host), there is a particular way it is passed around from source until it reaches the elder that will pray and pour libation.

Jim carried the kola and was passing it on to Ikeyi and he may have represented his State or village or clan.

In kola nut tradition, who is senior or elder is not calculated by age but from where the person is from. For instance a little boy of 14years from Nri may have to have the kola before it gets to a 60 year old man from Awka.

So a 14 yo boy can represent a clan! You are dead wrong.

it's culture. The youngest must pass the kola around and be the last to pick..it's called respect, something this indomie generation children know nothing about.

But you neglected to tell them who must do the breaking, and in what order the youngest person must serve the kolanut. If you do not say this, then your culture lesson is incomplete.

Keep quiet already.what do you know about iwa ojii na ala igbo?there is no way a little boy would break kolanut where there are elders except the little boy has a chieftaincy title which is not so common na ala igbo.

well said ,Jim Iyke is from my town Enugu Agidi which is also one of the sons Nri (umu nri) that must be why he was having the kola nut,I dont think he was serving it though since I have done similar in my years of living in south korea .most times I delegate the right to break the cola nut to the eldest person in the room.I suspect thats what he was doing here

Going by clan, village or whatever is according to your part of Igboland where the Nri stuff is observed. Other parts of igboland observe the normal pattern.
