It depends on the wife,but I see no reason why I should have a joint account with a wife.
Most of these average Nigerian ladies are very lazy,mentally and physically,thus they see marriages and relationships as escape route from poverty and are reckless in spending.
Majority of the few hardworking and working class ladies,prefer to spend their money on themselves and their first family(parents and siblings) so it's better we operate separate accounts.
Moreover,as a man with dreams and investments,I only see a wife and marriage as part of a big picture,not the big picture itself.
