It means that if you want to achieve success in life, you should be prepare to make sacrifices If a man does not eat yam because of salt, he eats it because of red palm oil. The proverb tells us that if for one reason a person does not wish to do something, he could be compelled to do it for another reason They say you do not blame the cobwebs in the room but the spiders that spinned them. This African proverb is used to bring to light the root of a problem A man who wants to know about death should look at sleep. it means that a man should face reality especially doubting Thomas A farmer does not clear the bush and expect the grass to dry immediately. patience is essential in day to day activities to ensure success A goat that roams about in other people’s compound should never complain of headache.
