Corruption is Condemnable by God - Danmasanin Kano

The Kano operational zone of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission today, May 23, 2017 carried out a mass Walk Against Corruption.

Zonal Head of Operation, Dr Adamu Hamisu Danmusa said the walk was aimed at sensitizing the public on the evils of corruption and to carry them along in the bid to drive corruption out of Nigeria.

The walk started from the Commission's Kano Zonal Office and terminated at the Race Course, Nasarawa in the Kano Metropolis featured several stakeholders from ICPC, NDLEA, KAROTA and Civil Defence.

At the termination of the rally, Elder Statesman
and former Minister in the first Republic, Alhaji Sule Maitama, Danmasanin #Kano gave a remarkable speech in which he described the walk of the Commission as God's Work. “Corruption is condemned by God, those that are fighting corruption are doing God's Work”, he said.

The Danmasani also warned that if we don't
fight corruption, we would never achieve greatness in the eyes of the world. "We are potentially a great country, a country that will take its proper place in the comity of nations, but we must work hard in order to realize that potential greatness".
