Who is he? William Gates aka Bill Gates. CEO and Chairman of MicroSoft - basically the world's richest person (by a couple of billion). What did he do? Allegedly he ran a stop sign and when he was stopped by the police he was unable to provide the cop with his driver's license. When? 13th Dec 1977 Charged? Unknown, but if the cops had any sense of humor at all they should have done him for fashion offense (is that a cravat he's wearing?). Those glasses are surely illegal too? Sentence? Unknown, but whatever it was didn't stop him from changing from a computer geek, to a rich computer geek. Subsequently, his company Microsoft has appeared in the US Supreme court on numerous occasions and has recently lost an anti-trust case concerning Microsoft's monopoly of Windows and Internet Explorer. |
