Charles Otu: Revulsion of a hallucinating hustler

Charles Otu, publisher of a rag sheet newspaper called People’s Conscience, who on Tuesday used his Facebook page to criticise Governor David Umahi and attack some prominent Ebonyians is a drowning stowaway screaming on top of his voice having lost a straw to clutch to escape from being drowned in the river he caressed himself.

Charles Otu parades himself as a journalist but in all sense of judgment, he’s not. He is someone who could not graduate from the university as a result of his involvement in nocturnal activities and since has not made any move to complete his education.

He keeps indicting himself by conflicting his academic status as he tells people that he graduated from UNN and EBSU when it’s conspicuous to the knowledge of the saner public that he’s a drop out .

It’s an irony for such a fellow to call Senior Technical Assistants and Technical Assistants appointed by Governor Umahi, some of whom had served as House of Assembly members and even Assistant Inspector-General of Police miscreants. He forgets to realise that these are patriotic Ebonyians, who unlike himself, have chosen to contribute towards the development of the state by queuing into the vision of the governor.

We challenge Charles Otu to show either his NYSC discharge certificate or an exemption letter from the mandatory national service.

Otu is just a hallucinating hungry hustler wallowing in abject rejection and irredeemable austerity. He is at best a wandering minstrel begging for alms of which if not given he resorts to implausible ranting and defamation of those he felt are in a position to help in government but snubbed him.

It is no more news that Charles Otu keeps visiting offices in Government House begging to be assisted with jobs and finance so that he can keep his so-called junk journalism on through his rag tag sheet.

It is though not bad that he begs to be assisted with job and funds but it becomes one when he instead of meeting God in prayers for assistance resorts to spewing odorous utterances and casting verbose pebbles on people and the government of Engr. David Umahi.

It is clear to the public that the Ebonyi State Government has never and not ready to undertake phony deals either to favour anyone or patronize any political interest group by way of dishing vain political appointments. Those appointed TAs and STAs by the governor of the State whom he described as miscreants are no less worthy citizens of the state as their profiles are devoid of questionable articles.

So, Charles Otu's perennial sorrowful outbursts should at best be described as revulsions of a hungry man rising and falling. His spews are like the last kick of a dying horse and the cackling of a bird whose limbs were lost to the predation of a wild wind!

In your haste to defend your pay master, you forgot that we are in democracy, where freedom of speech is paramount. The young man has every right to criticise his governor. You assholes in ebonyi state propaganda payroll should stop worshipping Umahi, he's doing what he was elected to do.

And of course, I'm Ebonyian.
