SOUTH-EAST ZONE (ENUGU)
TOPIC: ABBA FATHER - PART 5
BIBLE PASSAGE: Rm. 8:14-17
MINISTERING: Bro. Samuel

* In Scriptures, names reveal the nature and character of God
Abba in Hebrew means FATHER.
God is the Creator of everybody but not the Father of everybody. Jn. 1:12
Only few know God as Father - Heb. 12:2
Jesus had the revelation of God as Father - Jn. 5:30, Jn. 10:30.

The Implications of God as Abba Father
1. We have the nature of God
Everything produces after its own kind. Hence, every child of God has the nature of God and hence, a god- Lk. 15:1.
Sickness, poverty, barrenness and every evil is not in the nature of God.

2. He loves you beyond your imagination.
The nature of God is love- 1 Jn. 4:8.
1Jn. 3:1- Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us.
Rm. 8:15 - God has not given us the spirit of fear.
Gal. 5:6- Faith works by love.

3. God desires an intimate personal relationship with you.
Gen. 3:8
James 4:8- Draw nigh to God and He will draw new nigh unto you
Isa. 1:18
Matt. 11:28
Hence, you also desire an intimate relationship with God. This is the desire of every man.
Ps. 63:3
The relationship has priviledges. Some of them are:
* we become joint heirs with Christ - Rev. 5:12-14. He received the seven
Rm. 8:16
* God provides all your mean.
Eph. 1:3-5- Every father is a provider.
2Pet. 1:3
Phil. 4:19

* He corrects us in love - Heb. 12:6.
* He protects us. Every father is a protector - Ps. 121:7, Ps. 34:7.
* He gives us a place in eternity - Jn. 14:1-3.
Mal. 3:18.

PRAYER POINT
Father, this night, open my eyes to understand You more as Abba Father.

B) SECOND PRESENTATION
SOUTH-WEST ZONE
TOPIC: ABBA FATHER - PART 5
BIBLE PASSAGE: Lk. 15:11-24

PRAYER POINT
Abba Father, disappoint all my disappointments, harass all my harassment and frustrate all my frustrations.

* You can be without fame but not without a father.
* With Abba Father, you go further, then farther in life and then, faster in life.
* With Abba Father, you can't be a failure in life.
* Abba denotes a closeness, a personal relationship with the Lord.
* With Abba Father, you become a joint-heir with His Son. We were once strangers but we are now His children and are subject to His blessings.
* With Abba Father, everything becomes easy for you.
In the passage:
1. Abba Father is patient with us. He recognizes him- Lk. 15:11-32
2. The Father forgave the son ahead
3. The Father restored him back
4. The Father celebrated him.
5. The Father repositioned and enthroned the prodigal son.

* If you are not important to anybody but you are important to God.
* Jn. 6:44- Abba Father, pulls us. He sends His spirit to pull us to Himself.
* Ps. 68:5- Abba Father is more than ready to place His son.
WHEN GOD PLACES YOU:
* He places His favour in my hands.
* He places His fortune in my hands
* He places His inheritance in my hands.

Ex. 4:22-23- Abba Father protects His own. He will not allow me to enter into any difficulty.
Several things happen in His protection:
* He defends,
* He safeguards,
* He becomes your life insurance

5. 2 Sam. 7:14- Abba Father pardons His children. He chastises, scourges, corrects His children - Ps. 23:4. Be ready to take the correction of God.
Heb. 12:5-11

6. Abba Father has prepared a place for His children - Jn. 14:1-3. That place is heaven.
YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS WILL QUALIFY ME FOR ALL THE BENEFITS IN CHRIST JESUS.

PRAYER POINT
Abba Father, help me to connect with Your Son tonight, so that I will get all the benefits.

C) THIRD PRESENTATION
NORTH ZONE
TOPIC: ABBA FATHER - PART 5
BIBLE PASSAGE: Rm. 8:15-16

INTRODUCTION
In the Scripture, no matter how your earthly father is, he can only take you to a part in your destiny in life.
Gen. 11:31- The father of Abraham could not go far in life.
Abba Father, will take me to my destination in life.

POINTS FROM THE BIBLE PASSAGE
1. You have not received the spirit of bondage to fear because it is the Fatherhood of God that gives us the boldness. You have to manifest the spirit of sonship for Abba Father to manifest. Joshua 18:3- Your lack in life as a son is traceable to your slackness.
Ex. 4:22- Israel is my son, even my firstborn.
Num. 27:1
Life is a function of the choice you make in life.
One with God is majority.
Num. 27:7
Joshua 17:4.

THINGS TO KNOW:
1. You must accept Him as a Father.
2. You must choose to become His son- Jn. 1:2;
3. You must choose to believe in His name - Jn. 1:2;
4. You must choose to the authority of God - Mk. 14:36. Every son is adopted by submission.
5. Remove Son out of the equation of TRINITY, the equation cannot be balanced.
Rm. 8:37.

* God wants us to shine: He wants us to manifest His power.
* TAKE ABBA FATHER TO THE MARKET PLACE!!!
* ENOUGH OF TITLE WITHOUT ENTITLEMENTS!!!

D) FOURTH PRESENTATION

BIBLE PASSAGE: Mk. 14:36

The joy of every father is to see that the children succeed.
The passage has two components:
1. Prayer of Indulgence.
2. The Prayer of obedience.

* All things are possible with Abba Father - Lk. 1:37
Jer. 32:27- I am the God of all flesh
* An intimate relationship between the Father and the Son can be seen in Mk. 14:36.

* Jesus was faced with a choice in life. To go by Indulgence or obedience.
Phil. 2:9-11
Ezk. 18:20.
He died for us.

The Implications to Us When Jesus Took the Option of Taking
If Jesus had not died:
1. We wouldn't have access to the Name above all names;
2. We wouldn't have had blood cleansed us from all unrighteousness.

PRAYER OF INDULGENCE
1Sam. 2-4- Eli's children began to do many unlawful things.
Many have chosen short cuts and have lost the real blessings.

His obedience to the Father's will gave us many priviledges:
1. The Name of Jesus became a mighty weapon in our hands- Phil. 2:9-11;
2. He brought us salvation - Acts 4:12;
3. Christ brought us hope - Col. 1:27;
4. Delivered us from the fear of death - Rm. 6:23, Zechariah 9:11- Because of the blood of the covenant we prisoners have been set free.

How Do I Obey Abba Father?
1. You must be born again. Mal. 1:6.

How Do I Please Him In order to to Get the Best from Abba Father?
1. You must obey His words- Job 36:11
Let Abba Father be at the Centre of your life.
2. You must trust Him because He is able - Lk. 1:37, Jer. 32:27
Eph. 3:20;
Prov. 3:5
3. We must honour Abba Father. Don't treat Him like a beggar. Abba Father is great. - Ps. 50:10.
4. He desires a worshippers - Jn. 4:33:34, Jn. 15:16

PART ONE
Bible Passage: Prov. 21:27

Proverbs 21:27 (CWSB)
27 The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind?

* God loves praises very much - Ps. 50:23, Jn. 4:23-24
* When He found David, He had to make him a king.
Joshua 6:20;
* When people praise Him, He removes obstacles
* Acts 16:25-34- when you praise Him, He opens prison doors, He destroyed their yokes, He turned their tormentor to become their slave.
* 2Chron. 20:20-25- He caused the enemies to destroy themselves and transferred their wealth to His children.

God won't accept the praise or sacrifice of a sinner. Why?
* Prov. 15:9- the way of a sinner is an abomination to God;
* Their thoughts are abomination to God - Prov. 15:26;
* He compares the sacrifice of a sinner to shedding of innocent blood - Prov. 6:26;
* Prov. 28:9- The prayers of a sinner is an abomination unto God.
Lk. 18:10-14- The sinner ONLY needs mercy.

PART TWO
Bible Passage: Matt. 6:9

The Law of Priority- you put out what is the most important thing
Lk. 6:45
Jesus Christ said after you must have said ABBA FATHER, the next thing is to PRAISE HIM.

SEVERAL STATEMENTS TO SHOW THAT JESUS CHRIST LOVES TO SHOW THE PRAISES OF GOD
* Jn. 14:28- My Father is greater than I.
* Jn. 10:29 - My Father is greater than ALL.
* Dan. 3:13-29 - The king challenged God.
Dan. 4:28-37 - God made the king an animal for seven (7) years.
* Matt. 3:9- My Father can bring children out of stones.
* Lk. 19:37-40- My Father can cause stone to speak.
* Ex. 17:1-6- He has brought water out of rock.
* Lk. 1:37 - With God nothing shall be impossible.
* Jer. 32:27- I am the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?
* Matt. 26:53- Jesus said He could ask His Father and He would send Him twelve (12) legion of angels (72,000)
2Kgs. 19:35.
He is saying that My Father is the mightiest.
Every battle will crumble in a Church where God is well praised.
* Jn. 14:1-2- In My Father's house, there are many mansions.
Rev. 21:21- the streets in heaven are made of the purest gold.so pure that you can see through it.
Jesus is trying to say that His Father is the richest
Gen. 24:34-35
Gen. 26:1-14- God made Isaac rich.
Gen. 30:43- God showed Him how to be very rich.
* Jn. 8:58- He said before Abraham was I am.
Jn. 1:1,14
He is saying that My Father is the oldest- Ex. 3:13-14.
Ps. 90:1-2- Before the mountains came, He is God.
