The "honorable" senator representing Kaduna Central at the 8th National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Shehu Sani was quoted saying on Monday 5th June 2017 that "the forces igniting the Biafran agitation are a new generation of young men and women, who have not experienced war and have not suffered from the war and have not seen the consequences of wars".

Shehu Sani who must have heard of how Nigeria's State Security Services (SSS aka DSS) partitioned 51 job openings to a certain Northeastern State where Nigeria president Muhammadu Buhari hails from against 42 and 54 respectively given to the entire Southsouth and Southeast regions (who contribute the bulk of Nigeria's revenues via oil sales) in their recent recruitment, might also be aware that the Southeast Development Commission (SEDC) bill was shouted down by the House of Representatives and ejected from the window only last week. This is happening shortly after the Northeast Development Commission (NEDC), setup to rebuild damages done on the North by some extremist sons of the same North aka Boko Haram, paid a "paltry" sum of N233million to a company allegedly owned by one of president Buhari's friend, Babachir Lawal, for clearing of grass in one IDP camp alone.

Shehu Sani sir, while we wouldn't doubt that a great deal of us at the forefront of this renewed yet raging struggle for the restoration of the Sovereign state of Biafra Republic are less than 50 years or below who didn't witness the Biafran-Nigeria Civil War (which Shehu Sani was referring to) in 1967 (exactly 50 years ago), our our little gain of experience and pint-sized share in frustrations surrounding the agony of being Nigerians are already adequate to fuel reasons to seek for our God-given and United Nations-recognized rights to self determination.

Shehu Sani sir, although - thanks to Nigeria's banning of History classes in school curriculum - I cannot narrate the events of the 1967 war like my late grandfather who was born in 1914, I can authoritatively tell you that I heard President Buhari very loud and clear when he divided the country into two in his viral 97% - 5% statement on CNN in 2015.

Which war are we even talking about sir? "I tell you, all unity beggars are insane," my Facebook friend wrote this morning.

He continued: "Is there a war in Scotland right now? What about Catalonia? Is Spain going to wage a war on 18th September 2017 or are they going for a referendum like normal people? Eritrea and Ethiopia nko? Singapore and Malaysia nko? Iceland and Denmark nko? Cambodia and France nko? Mongolia and China nko?"

Shehu Sani sir, we understand that you know next to nothing regardding referendums and sovereign states so we must not waste your time talking about Biafraland which does not affect the boundaries of your region, state or let alone constituency; however sir, if I Somtoo Okoye were to be in your mighty shoes as a Nigeria Senator representing Kaduna people, I would be more worried about the brutal and repeated killing of Southern Kaduna indigenes by certain herdsmen who are said to have migrated from Italy (or was it Libya) whom also, the governor of Kaduna state Nasir el-Rufai told us how he handsomely paid them in cash after one of their eventful outings of murdering Kaduna people in their sleep.

My dear Senator, we know your time is running out but please continue. We are aware that we the Eastern Nigerian youths who have decided to pursue the dream of actualizing Biafraland are wayward and naive, however, we can never be as wayward as the people of Germany, Canada and France who chose to be stupid enough to hand over the entire affairs of their country to 39-year-old presidents - instead of electing a 74-year-old who would comfortably rule their country from a hospital bed in London.

Dear Mr. Sani sir, rather than amassing more abuses and insults from the political sphere in the name of trying to scare pro-Biafrans (including business moguls, elites and even lawmakers like yourself) with the reckless mention of war, we humbly advice you to assemble your constituents and engage them in meaningful activities in preparation of the rising of the sun, Biafra.

I know you are from the Hausa/Fulani tribe and everything about Biafra pains you a lot. I wish and pray fervently daily that other tribes in Nigeria including the Yorubas and Middle-belt should just allow you people alone to wage your war against the Igbos cos u lots have asked for it so much lets see if we won't send you lots back to Chad and Niger republic. Some of you thinks that you own the monopoly of violence. But always bear it in mind, Biafra has come to stay and there is nothing you can do about it.
