I SUGGEST SEUN BUYS 1 WEEK OF ADVERT TIME ON GOOGLE THEN USE THIS THREAD FOR THE ADVERT LET THE WHOLE WORLD TELL GLO TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF ITS DATA SERVICES. First rule: Dont be tempted to patronize glo because of their internet data offer, without checking your location.
At my home, glo has never opened nairaland.
But at my office location, its speed is awesome. The fact is glo internet network HAS NEVER BEEN ANYWHERE YOU GO.

The GLO 2,500 is it now 5Gig or what all this network with wayo

It depends on the area, I am using glo to chat now, and I just posted with glo. And to tell you the truth it is very fast (H+).

For those of us who works offshore, Glo is super fast but when u get back to town after work come the epileptic snail like network and data surfing. Solution is to have as many network as possible, swap to whichever is the strongest in town. I have Smile which works better in Asaba, MTN, Airtel and Glo as back up, the only problem is carrying three phone about

Glo lost a customer and those that I share with had to understand.

I used Wifi in my office for my business but at home I use Glo data to browse. I know the Network is slow but in the past days it has really been frustrating. I have had to take my home based internet business to my office which is against my work policy.

If you are experiencing same poor data speed with Glo, how are you coping? Any other alternative? I am based in Lagos.

In fact snail speed is the right word to use for Glo internet network. I have called their 444 customer service times without numbers, all you hear is it will be resolved. it got to an extent that I have no other choice than to sub for an mtn simultaneously with Glo.i think it's high time Glo stopped engaging in internet service cause they don't seem to fix their epileptic services.

Browsing with Glo 3G here in Benin in day time is normal, but no downloads. But at light from 7 browsing & downloading be like flying to Warri grin

I think the best advise I got so far is to get my hand on probably Airtel or MTN. I really need this as soon as possible. I am set to launch my book on Amazon and I do the promotion in the evening and early morning at home but GLO has frustrated my effort so far.

Glo is terrible in Nigeria? ha! Why am I not surprised? The speed is ok here in Ghana but the quality is bar none, the worst I have ever experienced.

I used Glo for a month after being attracted by their great bundle offers and out of this month, random unannounced blackouts took 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS! 2 weeks of not being able to browse, make calls, anything! When u attempt to call the helpline...they cut u off as soon as they hear what the problem is! grin

The final nail to the coffin was when they expired my bundle waaay before it's due date. I promptly flushed my glo sim down the toilet.

Wack network.
