A former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has accused the federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari of not doing enough to alleviate the sufferings of the people.

He also decried the high level of hunger and poverty that Nigerians were passing through.

Obi warned that the Nigerian economy would collapse soon if the federal government did not take immediate steps to arrest the rot in the system.

Though there is some level of political image laundering involved,Peter Obi is spot on.
Buhari is doing absolutely little or nothing to alleviate the unprecedented suffering of d masses.What makes it very sad is that it's d masses,particularly those in d North(d talakawas)and Southwest that av not only been supporting him since 2007,but that made his historical election victory possible.
