THE Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has called on the Federal Government to extend its arrest order to Prof. Ango Abdullahi, spokesman of the NEF.

The group, which addressed a world press in Kaduna at wee hours of Saturday noted that, should there be any crisis as a result of uncivil declaration by some reckless youths who failed to weigh the implications of such sensitive matter on the economic and socio-political consequences, Ango Abdullahi and his family would leave the country, leaving innocent people to pay with their blood.

President of NYCN, Isah Abubakar said the Kaduna Declaration’ was never in any way represent the collective voice or decision of any legitimate coalition of youth groups from the region as the council remains the apex youth organisation that has the right to announce any resolution of youths from the region.

The group, which plainly dissociated itself from the declaration said Nigeria remain one indivisible entity reiterating that, any Nigerian citizen, has the right to live and own property anywhere he or she chooses to reside without fear from other fellow citizens.

Isah, who expressed worry that when the country is working very hard to retrace its step to good governance, some were busy trying to frustrate that effort by well meaning Nigeria especially, President Mohammadu Buhari and his Vice Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

According to him, “we are surprise with statement credited to our renowned elder and academic, Professor Ango Abdullahi supporting the uncivil and illegal declaration that Igbos should vacate the North.

“NYCN want to use this medium to dissociate itself from anti-Nigeria agenda for selfish reason. We are not happy with the development in all its ramifications.

“We are calling on federal government to extend its arrest order to Professor Ango Abdullahi and other people who must have sponsored the perpetrators of such a huge inciting statement capable of throng the country into another civil unrest while the country is yet to fully recovered from the previous one several decades after”.

Looking at the happenings in this country, I have come to realise the true position of the Southerners.
It took the police, DSS less than 24hours to arrest the following Southerners; the Man who named his dog "Buhari", Nnamdi Kalu, Asari Dokubo and co because the clamor the actualization of freedom.
It's more than 48hours and the only punishment Alhaji Shettima Yerima and his Arewa Youth Consultative Forum got from Security agents was a warning. It's obvious that there are two set of citizens in Nigeria; the First Class citizens (Northerners) who have the right to do whatever they wish and avert justice and the Second Class Citizens(Southerners) who enjoy little or no right.
Arrest Orders were made but Northerners are far above justice.
What baffles me most was the fact that the treasonable #Kaduna_Declaration was held in the Arewa House in Kaduna nd it's practically impossible to host a conference in Arewa House without the consent of the Government of Kaduna State. I'm not surprise that no single arrest has been made despite Gov.El Rufai and Police Inspector General's Arrest Order.
For how long will the subjugation continue? I thought they said we are one Nigeria? Why is the North and South governed under different laws?
Still in the midst of tension raised by the declaration, Northern Elders Forum (NEF) supported the 3months quit Notice

Till date, The signatories to the arewa declaration are yet to be arrested but it took less than 24hrs to arrest Nnamdi Kanu who committed the same offence like the northern youths.

Well what were I expecting when their people are heads of all security apparatus in this country?

Till date, those who murdered a Christian preacher in Abuja are yet to be arrested and prosecuted.

Is it the Ife-crisis? Didn't it take the police few hours to arrest the Yoruba extraction involved in the crisis?

Well, we are watching!!!

Please since that foolish declaration in katsina by some unemployed men claiming youths, how many has been arrested.
What of that Anglo Abdullahi, that disgusting old fool who is quick to fan the embers of tribal violence but would be quick to rush to Uk(an accommodating Christian nation) if violence breaks forth, shouldn't the DSS visit him by now? Or is it when a pastor tells his church members to defend their church premises from bokoharam, that DSS will wake up.
