A kingpin of kidnappers, simply identified as Evans, has been arrested by the police, we learnt.
Information available to us has it that the kidnappers’ kingpin was arrested at about 1pm in his palatial Lagos home in Magodo Estate.
We were was told that Evans was arrested by the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team, led by an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
He was described as the most brilliant and notorious high profile kidnapper in the history of Nigeria.
He is believed to have made Billions of Naira from ransom in the last seven years, while coordinating the activities of several kidnap groups.

If true, then this is the best crime news I've heard/read this year, perhaps second only to the death of the accursed so-called 'Vampire".

This bastard spoiled the fun for peeps in Festac, and made so many jolly good prosperous men leave Festac. With his penchant for $1million ransoms, as if he gave those hard working businessmen a stash of forex to keep for him somewhere. His list of victims reads like the who is who of Festac/Amuwo-Odofin.

This animal was responsible for the botched kidnap attempt that forced the heavyweight called Vincent Obianodo (Young Shall Grow) out of Festac in 2013. Numerous others who were the lifeblood of Festac have also fled after their unpalatable ordeals in the hands of this monster, and some even fled the country
