Acting President Professor Yemi Osinbajo has urged all and sundry to work in harmony for the Nigeria project to be achieved.

Osinbajo called on those agitating for self independence to bury the idea but work for peace and unity of Nigeria.

He made the call on the heels of ultimatum issued by Northern youths on Igbos to relocate from their regions before October 1 this year.
The Acting President who spoke in Ibadan the Oyo State capital at the wedding ceremony of the former Interim National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande’s daughter, Wuraola and Dr. Olawale Solabi noted that nations with different ethnic nationalities were in a form of marriage.
He pointed out that quarrels and agitations can come up at any time but insisted that the most important thing was for them to give peace a chance and work in unity.

DAILY POST recalled that some youths in Northern Nigeria had earlier urged citizens of Igbo origin to vacate the region before October 1.
He said “Today is a special one for Wale and Wura. Marriage is a very large institution that requires a lot of prayers. It is the same marriage that nations go through.

“Our nation has been in marriage for a while now. Sometimes there are quarrels within that marriage. Sometimes there is disagreement. What is important is that you must remain together. You must remain united.”

Present at the event include Senate President, Bukola Saraki; Governors Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Rauf Aregbesola (Osun) and Muhammad Badaru (Jigawa).

We want a divorce!

And we think we can do better on our own instead of dealing with an abusive spouse

Osinbajo must be sick.Unity is not by force(USSR was once a country like Nigeria but today they are better off seperated.May it never be well with Lord Lugard).Dont he see how the northern cabal in the presidency are undermining his powers? Is that not enough for him to know that the north chants "one Nigeria" only when they're in charge? I hate hypocrites.Afojaism is the worst form of zombiesm.

Honourable SAN.

Pls consider the call for restructuring. That's our best bet right now. The SEDC bill should also be fast tracked and hopefully, we won't have corrupt people who will embezzle it like the ND own and spur youths to blame and attack the FG

Staying married is not by force. You cannot prevent your spouse from divorcing you.
