A West African Marketing Research Consultancy company seeks to fill the positions below: Research Executive - Location: Lagos Role: Provide overall coordination and supervision of research activities to ensure the company meets client expectation of professional project delivery. Qualification & Experience • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in economics, psychology, mathematics, statistics, business communications and related fields • A masters degree is a plus • 5 plus years of experience in research • Ability to communicate in French is a plus. Required Attributes • Proven track record of operational excellence of research projects and a strong sense of commitment towards success and ensures confidentiality at all times • A good record of achieving research and fiscal targets • Reasonable but firm professional with a good sense of humor • Ability to retention of clients and sustain their loyalty. • Good writing, effective communication and analytical skills • Good planning, organizing and research skills Duties • Manages and coordinates research projects, including drafting proposals, questionnaire design, moderator guides, data analysis, data interpretation, writing reports and development of recommendations. • Coordinates the management of day-to-day operational aspects of research projects. • Moderates focus group discussions. • Conducts qualitative or quantitative surveys, which may involve fieldwork, interviews or focus group assessments. • Uses statistical software to manage and organize information. • Advises clients and senior management on how to best use research findings. • Communicates with clients to understand and document the business objectives. • Designs qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle. • Ensures that Research projects meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations. • Liaises with Team Members and the Project Manager in creating the initial schedule of projects and ensuring successful completion. • Provides input into the Company’s goal setting process. Management Trainee - Location: Lagos Role: Receives training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities. Expectation: Gains knowledge and experience required for promotion to management positions under direction of experienced personnel by diligently performing assigned duties. Qualification & Experience • A degree from a recognized tertiary institution in economics, psychology, mathematics, statistics, business communications and related fields • A masters degree is a plus • Minimum of 1 year experience in a suitable workplace • Ability to communicate in French is a plus. Skills Required • Efficient communication skills (standard written and spoken English) • Good time management and decision-making skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • Excellent passion to learn grow • Good interpersonal and problem solving skills Attributes Required • Good writing, effective communication and analytical skills • Good planning, organizing and research skills • Efficient, accurate, and detailed-oriented whilst meeting strict deadlines • Interpersonal skills, initiative and drive to learn new things • Excellent motivation and very energetic with a high sense of urgency • Reasonable but firm professional with a good sense of humor • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and works well under pressure • Strong sense of commitment towards success and ensures confidentiality at all times • Good team player with a passion for growth and development Duties • Receives training and performs duties in several departments such as Research, Administration & Finance, Client Services, Field Operations, Quality Control and Data Processing Departments. • Learns line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business. • Sets performance goals and objectives with upper management. • Monitors performance progress with management and key trainers. • Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
