O. N Ogbe has ordered
that a 32 year old woman, Mrs.
Fatima Solomon be remanded in
prison custody pending when she
is able to fulfill her bail condition
for allegedly stealing a GSM
handset in a salon. Sources said
the Ogun State-born mother of 3
who resides in Ikorodu was arrested
at 14 Aroromi street in Ilasamaja
where she pretended to
have gone to make her hair but
surreptitiously picked the Infinix
model handset and tucked it into
her handbag and hurried out
of the salon as fast as her legs
could carry her. Sources said
she bargained on the hair style
she wanted with the stylist at
the salon but informed that she
was going home to get the materials
for the hair; meanwhile,
she had stolen a phone that
was being charged in an electric
point. But the owner of the
phones soon became conscious
shortly after the strange customer
left the salon and started
looking for her phone. A search
party was immediately launched
which commenced a manhunt
for her following which she was
spotted along the express road
where she was apprehended. It
was learnt that she had already
made arrangement to sell off the
N50,000 worth stolen phone for

When he bag was searched, the
handset which had already been
switched off was discovered. She
was dragged to the Ilasamaja Police
station where she confessed
to the DPO that she was kleptomaniac
stressing that her husband,
Folonsho knows her status..............
