In an effort to address the current cyber challenges in the country and reposition the carpentry and furniture in­dustry, the first Cyber World Conference is billed to hold in the Feder­al Capital Territory (FCT) by June 15th, 2017 while EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, Minister of Communication, Barr Adebayo Shittu and Lai Mohammad will also be speaking at this prestigious event.

Convener of the pro­gramme, Mr Felix Idowu in an interview ahead of the event said the conference which is the first of its kind in Nigeria would provide a veritable platform for industry enthusiasts, practitioners, stakeholders, government and its rel­evant and regulatory agen­cies to meet and explore relationships that would position the industry in Ni­geria and thus provide job opportunities for Nigerian youths which is one of the goals of the platform.

Cyber Security and Cyber Crime is a major problem Nigerians are facing right now and we are using this platform as an avenue to counter most of the problems, he added.
