walking solemnly at night on the football field,
writing this silly poem hoping you might read,
wondering when this LOVE would finally Yield,
but you denying it by the SHIELD you WIELD,
focusing only on the Career you intend to BUILD.

Its been long I wrote a poem and I have NO formal or informal training at all, I know I have creativity in ME but I need some few pointers to bring out the best in me, like structures etc, holla if u have the time.

Ok. But not everyone has any formal training either; I certainly didn't . Itz just the creativity in all of us.

You may like The Poetry Home Repair Manual, by Ted Kooser. But you don't need all that, really. What you need is to read and write as often as you can and you are there. What you wrote here is good.
