The accident happened in the undeveloped part of Gwarimpa in Team 6 area. The road is ungraded and a temporary culvert was constructed over a gulley created by a seasonal stream on the very sloppy road leading to some newly built churches and a British school.

On Tuesday afternoon, there was a heavy downpour and the gulley was filled with water overflowing the culvert. I learnt the victim was on his way to pick his child from the British school and he apparently misjudged where the culvert was, and coupled with the sloppy road, the car slipped into the water-filled gulley.
