Focus: Who Could Stand?

WORD FOR TODAY
A man irrespective of who he is remains a sinner if he does not resemble Christ Jesus. The only man who will stand in God's presence is the man who resembles Jesus Christ in His attributes!!!

"If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand?" (Psalms 130:3 NIV).

In the actual sense, due to fact that the canal man is being ruled by the sinful nature; He cannot stand in the presence of God. However, the provision of God's salvation through Christ Jesus did not only bring men to God but also bring them into a cordial relationship with Him.

Therefore, the only picture or standard for any man that will stand in God's presence is Christ Jesus. The righteousness of a man at any level of life is regarded as a filthy rag before God. Hence, becoming like Jesus is not an option but a must for any man who must stand in the presence of God.

To be like Him you must deny yourself, carry your cross daily and follow Him in His steps (Luke 9:23). Submit your life to God and allow Him to work in you to do His good pleasure. Don't live your life having your confidence only in the fairness of God to all mankind.

+ Do you resemble Him in His attributes?

Lord! I submit my life to you; live your life in me in Jesus name. Amen.

The only picture God wants to see in the life of any man who must stand before Him is Christ Jesus!!!
