According to the US media the American pop star, Beyonce, who took to the social media to announce her pregnancy in an Instagram post in February has given birth to her set of twins.

Entertainment Weekly, Us Weekly and People magazines confirmed the news, but the date of birth and gender of the babies are not yet publicly known.

The announcement of her pregnancy in an Instagram photo in February was the most-liked post in history on the network.

Beyonce is married to rapper Jay-Z and the couple already have a daughter, Blue Ivy, aged five.

There has been no official confirmation of the birth from Beyonce and Jay-Z themselves.
