Have you realised that there are five(5) places in the Bible where there was an outpouring or receiving of the Holy Ghost and in all cases. Now, do you know Jesus said to His disciples, receive the Holy Ghost ( see John20:22) and at Pentecost, when the time was fully come, there came a sound like a rushing mighty winds and its unfortunate many has built doctrines on this first outpouring

The first was Acts 2:4, but one significant thing about this part is, the people said they were drunk, there was some display of a drunken mannerism, yea, just like you see in those churches, usually when someone initially receives the Holy Spirit, those things would actually, not necessary though, but they manifest at times.

Now, our salvation matters alot, but its a sin to dwell on salvation only, its like you again admission into university and you sit down, I know you would not agree with me, but I was like you, many people would preach salvation, salvation messages are good, but you need to grow pass salvation into journeying with God and going far with God.

The second outpouring, its just a pity that God has a lot that He wants to show to us, the Bibke said deep calleth unto deep, the deepest part of God is not salvation, Paul said, that I may know Him. Christ whom we preach, the assignment of a Christian is to become as Christ is. A servant can not be greater than His master, just be like Christ first, before saying greater works than this shall ye do, as though it is by Babalolas power that he brought about 1930 revival

Ye, the second is, Acts 8, where they all were baptised, now, this one is significant too, many were baptised, but in Acts 8:14-17, despite their baptism, water baptism, they do not have the baptism, remember, the disciples of Jesus were baptised, yet, they received the outpouring, years after their water baptism (John 4:1-2). So Peter and John came to lay hands on them and then they received, Acts 8:17. Now, Acts8:18-19 spoke about Simon offering money to the disciples to receive the gift, now, the question is, what did Simon see, he saw some wine like mannerism and they also could have spoken in tongues likewise, being part of what Simon saw.

Thirdly, Paul in Acts 9:17, after his conversion, Ananias laid hand on him and said, be filled with the Holy Ghost and Paul later said, I speak in tongues more than ye all. 1corin14:18.

Fourthly, Peter was preaching in Cornelius village and the Bible said, why yet Peter spoke, the Holy Ghost fell on they all. Acts10:44-48. But note something, they were not baptised, but they receive the Holy Spirit with the Gift of speaking in tongues without having done baptism.

Lastly, Acts 19:1-7, Paul was preaching at Ephesus and he came across this 12 evangelist who were on mission work and knew so much about Johns baptism(Acts19:3-4), evidently, they had done water baptism and have partook of it. and v6 said they prophecied and spoke in tongues.

Paul said, let us desire that we rather prophecy in 1 corin 14, now, the question is, why was
