Good day nairalanders, i attend a private university and i was meant to have concluded my bsc programme weeks back but I was unable to due to my many carry overs. I have 10 in total, i wanna do six in summer school and the rest the following year. The problem now is, i don't know how to get this across to my parents, the economy ain't good and the stigma that comes with being an extra year student ain't a joke, I'm really suicidal but it's not really a good way out as it'll only cause my loved ones a lot of pain. What's the best way around this?
