True. But also look at it from the sellers perspective. They get lots of enquiries from people, some of which don't end up buying the phone and just waste their time.

Also, the seller don't just sell that particular model you're interested in, they sell other models from the same brand and other models from different brands too. So what are the chances that he actually uses the the phone to be able to answer your questions?

What if they misinform you just to sell the phone? Personally I feel a buyer has no business asking a seller about the functionality of a phone unless it's a used one of course. You should always do your own research, thoroughly I might add, including about the person you're buying from, to avoid stories. And in this case, there's a Xiaomi discussion thread where you'll get lots of first hand review about the said phone.

I usually don't do reviews even when I get a high end phone but I just have to do this.

I've used iPhones and Samsung phones. My last being the S20 Ultra, one problem I have always had was battery as I'm a heavy user and no matter what I did to conserve battery nothing just works. Mind you, S20 Ultra has 5000mah battery but it barely gets through the whole day. In fact the most screen on time I have gotten on it is 7hrs 30mins on FHD screen and medium battery saving settings.

After the sad battery experience I decided trying Xiaomi, I got Note 9s of 5020mah which has completely blown me away in terms of battery life. I have been trying to run it down literally but I can't. I have been surfing the net, watching movies still I can't run it down. I intentional said I won't charge since yesterday morning....... Guess what? I still have 45% battery left which will last me the rest of the day.

Screen on time is over 8hrs already meaning I can still get about 6hrs SOT.

Overall these phones don't compare to Samsung functionalities but I'm beginning to think Samsung makes wack battery or they fake the capacity.

Samsung s20 ultra has a bigger screen, higher screen resolution and double the refresh rate. Comparing both batteries is totally unfair to the s20 ultra.



Also the exynos version of the s30 ultra is bad. It drains battery like mad.

Before s20 ultra there are Samsung phones with smaller screen, lower resolution and lower refresh rates.....there hasn't been any difference. I mentioned where I started with Samsung so I'm not sure why we point out the resolution and refresh rate.

I did ask if midrange Samsung phones with lower refresh rates and resolution last this long..... Answer is mostly likely no.
