Report had it that president Umaru Musa Yar adua ordered tha removal of Gbenga Aruleba as the anchor man of the AIT talk show FOCUS NIGERIA. this was done just before the departure of the president to Saudi Arabia for medical check-up. i say the plan worked out fine because the president was just trying to remove all the obstacles on his way, it was like the president anticipated that his treatment would take long and so wanted to hold on to power till he returns.

My thinking is that Gbenga Aruleba would have used this talk show to send this country into unrest knowing that this guy is a great talker, he would have invited so many guest into the show that would have instigated Jonathan take-over. the current anchor man Kunle Adewale is a slow talker and has since this development taken caution while presenting the show to avoid his own removal.

what a wise president we have.

Is that how you rate wisdom? A man who wants to hold onto power till he dies. To me that is covetousness and greed.

I was an avid viewer of the show and dont even time for the watered down version of focus Nigeria.  But i must confess Gbenga did go overboard sometimes without concrete evidence.  As a journalist he should have know better.

A man who was lured into the presidency and swallowing the bait hook, line and sinker without consideration for his health who as a governor has had occassions where he stayed away in Germany for full six months attending to his health!

A man whose wife has successfully wrested power from him and weilds it as she wishes without the man raising an eyebrow!

A man who has a seven-point agenda and almost three years in power and can not point to one successfully implemented out of the seven-point-agenda!

A man who prefers to visit hospitals outside our shores rather than developing one or two hospitals here to a world class standard!

A man who would rather perform an opening ceremony of a university in Saudi Arabia when his colleagues were seriously debating world issues at the United Nations General Assembly!

A man who as a governor would not even interract with his fellow governors and did not even have their phone numbers and would prefer to send his deputy to attend Council of State meetings in Abuja!

He is indded a wise president!!

wisdom is two faced, it is either used positively or negatively. for him it is positively while in your own view it is negatively. do you really think it is easy to cook up something like this?
