Lyrics
Just organize and centralize my people
Because Babylon have...
Instilled malicious and grudged upon my people, yuh know
Yuh see the dutty lifestyle...the Rastaman ah bu'n it!!!
There's nothing in them system
Of which they create all around, ey
They criticize their own Idren
Yet they would catch at a straw if they were to drown, ey!
They not different from those
Scribes and Pharisees who come around, ey!
They lurks in the corners
Skylarks in the streets, flirt in the towns
They never do positive
They find a joy making people business their own, ey
Dance ah yard before yuh dance abroad
The High Priest tell yuh dat and you dey frown
Galong, go get good ways, true grace
Haffi purge fi pass Zion Gate
You haffi have good ways--it give you long days
Nah take no bribe from not a screw-face
Go get good ways, good grace
Purge fi pass Zion Gate
You haffi have some good ways--it give you long days
Aw! what do you say? ah tell yuh now
They await your downfall
Fi go labba and talk--yow!
Well dey greater joy ah commission
Yuh haffi go have ah knock he jawbone fi laugh, aayy!
When Babylon city ah go down
Propaganda whey they spread becomes a dagger to them heart, ey!
Think say them have a secret
The baby reveal it, say them ah wok witchcraft, ow!
Say dem better, so them ah close in
Contempt the youth them whey they pass
Every man is equal
Rastafari say trod not on the ungodly path
Chorus
Galong, go get good ways, long days
Purge fi pass Zion Gate
What about your good ways?--it give yuh length of days
Yow, yow yuh taste
So yuh medicine they taste
Yeah, wha', wha' !
Ey! once them know
Ah chat 'bout them this, them that
Who slick from who flop, ey!
Them say mash through bush
And anything else whey fi come
Ah mus' be rubbish and trash--oy!
Every day ah dat them practice
The same ting, them never yet know when fi stop
Full up ah bad mind!
Then ah wah make yuh want fi see yuh brother drown
Chorus
Go and have some good ways, true grace
Purge before yuh pass Zion Gate
Go and have some good ways--it give you long days
Oh! now them taste
So they medicine they taste
Good ways, long days
Nah let go King Selassie through no screw-face
Good ways--it give yuh length of days
Nah take no bribe from no screw-face
Just have some good ways--it give yuh length of days
Aw! this ah one ah true faith
Ah tell yuh now
There's nothing in the system
That they have create around
Oh! they criticize their own high-trine
Yet they would cyah touch a straw if they were to drown
Don't you see they're not much different

I Wonder lyrics
Album: The Story Unfolds

Oh my Lord be my shield,I ask of thee
I know they still have some evil purpose in mind
Wanna hurt me

[2x]
I wonda if I will live to see tomorrow
Living in this world of conflicts and sorrows
Bodies lie cold
As gunmen strike bold
And the wicked people work
Is taking off like an arrow

I'm not afraid to die, but to live until death
It's not hard for you to guess
What will happen next
Heartaches and pain, works of ungodliness
Some nuh know why dem a live
That's when them have to hurt the flesh

But who are they
Tell me what we represent
I struggle with fear as I experience
How them do them dirty works which I resent
And no one but them a go face the consequence
They build walls instead of bridges of ridicule
Then war with whom they live, like a fool
But if I travel long road
Ah, where you water full
'Cause the vessel of the inequity
Never yet full

I wonder...

That burning concern is no longer there
There filled with the medicine
When babylon prepare
Instruments of cruelty present everywhere
Strong enough to take the life
But not enough to care
As the road gets dark, I expect anything
I know not my enemies
So it leave me wondering
Many life was lost, who is the next victim
It could be you, it could be I
Through how them set the system
Them kill without a cause, what is the meaning
No one knows what tomorrow may bring

{Repeat 1st verse}

They are filled with corruption and selfishness
Overload with bitterness and wrath
So I have to seek to keep myself away
From the wicked on the roads they walk
Oh yes, them sow seed of conflict
Them wan fi see mi trick
But na go fester my heart
Because I dwell inna Jah sight
Man do what is right
Don't want it to be said that I never pay my part
Many ride with enemies
And I am my brother's keeper
What have I done
They no want fe see me prosper
Push on this load as them make it heavier
Jah, is only sorrow the wicked have to offer

You got to get going
No time to sit and doubt
Some people not knowing life is a cycle
You got to know how to get around

[CHORUS:]
Yes you got to be strong
And be all the best you can
The world is out there
Conquer your fears
And don't you wait too long

Yes you got to be strong
And be all the best you can

Not like the stereo type,
Cleanliness intriguing you
Give thanks and praise for my life
And for us being here
Children times are this good, the system killing us
There's good in us, and we always want you to bring it out
Show the world what we've got

A lot of people out there wish for me to fall sad

Yo dont seduce to reduce mi knowledge
Because i will always break those barriers and break down bondage.
oh LORD GOD ALMIGHTY grant mi all privilege.yuh see,

Would di white God save mi from whiteman oppression
I have no white God it's just a BLACK MESSIAH
If a white God a bless how him naw bless sizz

I want what is rightfully mine so mi naw stay mute
Your system is design to distract mi from di truth
But it will come to pass and known unto di yutes
In the process of time we will know the truth

Holy Emmanuel I King Selassie Jah Rastafari

While Christ the Lord

has real consequences. In all
likelihood, if you close your
eyes and picture Jesus, you’ll
imagine a white man.

"Love Created I"

Blessed love, Satta Massagana
Igziabeher, Negust, Negast
Kadamawe, Kadamawe, Kadamawe

Give us the teaching of Marcus Garvey
Kebra Negast (http://www.sacred-texts.com/chr/kn/) means Glory of Kings
Give I and I Selassie I and keep the guy
With the blue eyes for yourself grin

'Cause people without a vision perish like suicide kiss
You tell me its not about color shocked
Still you refuse to take the picture off the wall
All you do is trick the brothers, keep them confused
They don't know who to call in this critical war

And you tell me of a paradise in the sky but that's a lie
And you tell me, I was born in sin and shaped
In inequity when love created I
Look how many prophets tried
To open our eyes, you can't fool me

Look how they're treating us
This new millennium slavery
I see them hiding the chains
And still beating us daily

And now we mentally poisoned to fight we black skin
And bleaching ah the in thing far out and far in sin
You tell me its not about color
Still you refuse to take the images out your books

I know that's not how we look, kush
Don't take offense when we shout black power grin
It carries us through, we been abused
Put yourself in my shoes

And no tell me of a paradise in the sky
But that's a lie
Don't tell me, I was born in sin and shaped
In inequity when love created I

Look how many prophets tried

Thanks. I was waiting for you to come back before correcting you! You are correct; The New York Times reported that the Coronation cost $3M in 1930. No qualms with that, here we are talking about the Coronation of a King of Glory; what do you expect? Have you forgotten what happened in John 12 Verse 3-8? Or did you forget Mark 14 Verse 3-11?

Let us be careful of murmuring which is unprofitable, please. Or are we trying to be like Judas in that passage?

Give thanks

This is a very important issue, though I think its more of a historic/socio-political issue than a religious one. I'm not sure one can have an intelligent conversation on the mental effects (or brainwashing) of white conditioning in this section. Most people go bersek when the issue of religion is raised, often without an understanding of the real issues.
I agree that the Eurocentric version of history was written to subdue non-Caucasian races. The jews were not Anglo Saxon or Caucasian. Neither Abraham, nor Isaac, nor Jacob or Esau was Caucasian or white. In fact, the Jews were enslaved by the ancestors of modern Europe- the Romans.
An interesting topic.

Thank you.

We had an actress here who is good in acting. She is dark skinned and one day, she had a chance to compete to make a drama of Jesus story at school. She was the best in acting but they chose a beautiful light skinned girl over her to act as St. Mary.

My other question is that. . . why does it have to matter much if St. Mary was beautiful or not? It only matters that Jesus was her son and that she is very blessed. This fact itself makes her beautiful

What is it that you wish they were discussing here? What's more important than the truth about the Divine?

You make me laugh worse than Trump does...lol

Jesus' skin color is that which relates to truth and divinity? Sigh

If Jesus' skin colour does not relate to truth and divinity; please tell us what does?

Many Thanks

Or are you saying that Jesus is un-true and un-divine? Huh?
Or are you stating that Jesus' skin color is not a part of Jesus? (Sigh X2)

Tewahedo (Ge'ez: ተዋሕዶ? täwaḥədo) is a Ge'ez word meaning "being made one" or "unified". This word refers to the Oriental Orthodox belief in the one single unified nature of Christ; i.e., a belief that a complete, natural union of the Divine and Human Natures into One is self-evident in order to accomplish the divine salvation of humankind. This is in contrast to the "two Natures of Christ" belief (unmixed, but unseparated Divine and Human Natures, called the hypostatic union) which is held by the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia article on the Henotikon,[1] around 500 bishops within the Patriarchates of Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem refused to accept the "two natures" doctrine decreed by the Council of Chalcedon in 451, thus separating themselves from the main body of the Christian Church at the time, which would later itself split in two factions (Eastern Orthodox and Catholic) in the East–West Schism of 1054, although this later event was not about Christological views.

Oriental Orthodoxy consists of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, Armenian Apostolic Church, Syriac Orthodox Church, Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church. It is known as "non-Chalcedonian", and, sometimes by outsiders as "monophysite" (meaning "One Single Nature", in allusion to Jesus Christ). However, these Churches themselves describe their Christology as miaphysite (meaning "one united nature" in reference to Jesus, the Greek equivalent of "Tewahedo"wink.

“The temple of the most high begins with the body which houses our life, the essence of our existence. Africans are in bondage today because they approach spirituality through religion provided by foreign invaders and conquerors. We must stop confusing religion and spirituality. Religion is a set of rules, regulations and rituals created by humans, which was suppose to help people grow spiritually. Due to human imperfection religion has become corrupt, political, divisive and a tool for power struggle. Spirituality is not theology or ideology. It is simply a way of life, pure and original as was given by the Most High of Creation. Spirituality is a network linking us to the Most High, the universe, and each other…”

Dear Atse Haile Selassie II (Tampinu)

It's a fact that the Ancient Ethiopians(Cushs) weren't only the current Ethiopians. They also were the Nubians(northern Sudanese), southern Sudanese, Yemenites, some Eastern and Wastern Africans, some Middle Easterns and some Indians.

I believe that the Ancient Ethiopians knowledges were looted by the savage Assyrians, savage Greeks, savage Romans, savage Arabs and other savage Europeans.

Now those ppl are claiming every magnificent things that happened in Africa were because of savage Europeans. They were/are worst Humans.

Here is Atse HS I, regional lords and court members photo in between 1908-22 EC (1916-30 GC) I think.

Yes, the Europeans are playing games but the Bible says:

"Let he who wishes to be fooled, be fooled"

After one of my recent
lectures, a Christian college
student approached me and
asked if black people are
uncomfortable with the fact
that Jesus is white. I
responded, “Jesus is not white.
The Jesus of history likely
looked more like me, a black
woman, than you, a white
woman.”
I wasn’t shocked by this
student’s assumption that
Jesus was of European
descent, or the certitude with
which she stated it. When I
am in US Christian spaces, I
encounter this assumption so
often that I’ve come to believe
it is the default assumption
about Jesus’ appearance.
Indeed, white Jesus is
everywhere: a 30-foot-tall
white Savior stands at the
center of Biola University’s
campus; white Jesus is
featured on most Christmas
cards; and the recent History
Channel mini-series The Bible
dramatically introduced a

If Jesus appears in USA today, he will be called either a n1gger or a sand n1gger.

In any case Jesus is a melanated person and all the white Christians will hate him for being a person of color grin grin
