It was raining heavily and I was in a haste to get home, the violent darts of the rain bent on blinding me, when I saw this figure from afar walking - No, dangling under the rain without an umbrella, without consciousness or care.

She was not avoiding me, Damn! She's stopped moving. What the heck! I immediately hit the brake, hoping I wasn't too late.

I got down from the car and went under the heavy rain to see if I had crushed her. The rain pelting my shirt filled me with annoyance, the sight of her body sprawled on the ground, not crushed - was a relief. Thank God! I was just in time, I took a closer look at her face. In spite of the pain, gloom, and madness looming over her, she was beautiful. She didn't look dangerous. Then I lifted her and dropped her in my car, she was unconscious.

"What am I doing? I am used to minding my business, what has gotten into me?". This thoughts battled within me, as my eyes scanned the body once more. Damn!

When I got home I opened the door switched on the light then say a short prayer because I didn't want to carry a karishika into my house. A mammy water can never be my first guest.
I went back to the car and carried her inside, I placed her on the sofa as I stood contemplating what next to do. I can't take her to the hospital. I had no intention of writing any report, she looks very beaten up and bad. And this is Nigeria.

Yes! I picked my phone and called Ayo my Doctor. He was the family doctor, did I just say family? Shit! Bleep it.

"Hey, I have an emergency.. Come to the house now", I ordered immediately he picked, then I hang up.. Yes, I didn't care about what he had to say.. And he knew I hate being kept waiting or explaining myself

Then I went to the bathroom fetched water, picked up a foam and soap.. Then I cleaned her up, from her hair down, revealing her beauty And more of her scars.. She must have went through a lot..
Then I went to the kitchen, opened Two indomie and started cooking. Thirty mins later, I was done eating and felt dizzy, Ayo had not yet arrived. I was feeling pissed and impatient when I heard a car drove in.. It was him, I opened the door for him.. He was breathing heavily, he must have gone through alot to be here under this heavy rain but who cared?

"You kept me waiting", I said calmly as I closed the door.. He ignored me and walked in, then stopped when he sighted the girl

"I saw her on the road, please check up on her", He brought out his stethoscope And did a few things I didn't Care about..

"Where did you say you found her?" He asked in a discomforting manner

"On the road",

"She has suffered on injuries and some internal injuries too.. I think she was raped or abused of some sort, she has been through a lot, but she will be fine with time... I will place her on an IV drip, then come back tomorrow to check up on her.. She just needs rests" He said as he packed up to leave

"Like how many days will her recuperation take? ", I asked out of anxiety and not care

"Depending on her body, she's a female so it will take 5-7days", He answered as he left.. Does this cow knows that this is my house and not a hospital?
I searched her bag, took out her phone ad searched her contact.. Then saw Mummy, but calling her mum to say her daughter was supposedly raped and is in my house now? No be me abeg.. Her mum might not even have known, who knows which lie she might have told to come here and get raped... Then I saw a text to Annie Bae, and from the content I knew Annie Bae is her partner in crime and right person to call.. But from personal experience family couldn't be trusted so friends can't trusted either.. So I called Annie and gave her a revised standard version of the story..

Her friend was in an accident and will be in the hospital for a couple of days.. She would find a way to cover up for her..

PERFECT ADDICTION (EPISODE 2)

I moved Michelle from the sitting room to one of the rooms in the house. Yeah, her name is Michelle, I saw an ID card in her bag. Ayo would always come and check up on her and then change the IV drip.

I was a loner. Since Dad cut me off over two years ago, I've grown into this sea of loneliness. I was used to it. No one came around, save for my friends on special occasions and they call first. When they come we stay in the sitting room. So for 6 days, no one knew I had a strange girl in my house. Except my doctor of course.

On the 6th day, I was at home watching a TV series (No ordinary Family) when she came to the sitting room, with the IV drip in hand.

"Where am I?", she asked weakly, but calmly. She was not even freaked out. "This doesn't look like a hospital to me", she added.

"You're up, I had to be a nurse for 6days. Its a girly thing", I said as I smiled and walked towards her, about to touch her, she waved off the hand. Ingrate! I felt a sudden rush of irritation climbing through my veins. For a moment, my ego was bruised. I was clearly offended by her brute ungratefulness.

"Since you're okay now and back to being your bitchy self, I'll call my doctor to come discharge you." I said, desperately trying to veil my frustration and then walked down to my room.

You left your place and went to a guy's house and got raped, now you are being careful with guys? Its funny how girls act all reserved and careful to their saviour or helper and hastily give the cookie and access to the devil.

Few hours later, Ayo came and checked on her and maybe even talked to her. I was in my room, I didn't know what exactly went on with them. When Ayo left, she came and knocked on my door.

"Proud jerk!" She said as she stood up and left. After eating, we talked. But she didn't tell Me about what happened.

The next day, David and Michael came to the house. I introduced Michelle as a friend. Michael was already all over her but she was not in the flirting mood so he took the cue and left her alone. When she went in, they wanted to hear a gist about her but I told them nothing.

David said my mum asked about me, but I didn't care. My Dad cut me off, he banned my siblings from visiting me and all this while she couldn't stop her husband. She said I needed it, and that I had to search within and figure out what I truly want. Well this is want I want, to be alone and away from all of them.

After Michelle left, my life went back to its boring circle. I'd wake up, brush my teeth, grab a few junks and eat then crawl back to bed or watch movies all day. Sometimes I'd go to Meyer's Tech, My Uncle's shop (David and Michael's dad) where he sells Computer gadgets and accessories and I was always welcomed. He had always tried convincing me to work there but I always refused.

On that day, I was at home as usual watching movies when I heard the door buzz, I didn't have any guests appointment with today so who the hell was that? I peeped through the door hole and there was my younger brother. I felt a sudden rush within me. I didn't know if it was anger or excitement but it felt refreshing.

I opened the door and he came in, slowly with a backpack. He had gotten a lot taller. I hadn't seen him since last year when he sneaked down here and got really flogged by Dad for it.

"Good afternoon, bro", he said, he had developed a very deep voice. He stood looking at me to say a word.

"Why are you here? And does Dad know you're here?" I asked with a frown plastered in my face, he just walked to the TV and picked the remote control.

"Drop that and answer my question!" I said, almost yelling.

"I need your help and No! No one knows am here." I could see the distress enveloping his expression. I took a seat and pointed one for him to sit.

"There is this maths problem, and its too hard!" He said. "I have tried, even Aunty Ijeoma doesn't even know it sef". He concluded with a sigh of frustration.

"Aunty Ijeoma don't know maths and you're a genius so why can't you pick it at school?" I asked. And yes, he was a genius like me.

"That uncle Tunde can't teach, only to pour person spit in the front seat", He laughed but stopped when he noticed I wasn't amused.

"What topic is that?" I asked.

"Its trigonometry and you'll also teach surd too", He said as he went to the fridge and took some cookies and orange juice.

After eating, I taught him. I was a poor teacher but I can't explain how he usually assimilated my tutorials more than that of his teachers.

"Dousan, you're the baddest! I miss you". He said as we exchanged our renowned uchiha shake. I was happy. It had been a while I felt this fulfilled; I opened my laptop and copied some files and ebooks to my flash drive.

"Take it! You'll love it" As I handed it to him. We watched some movies and played games, then he slept off! I checked the time and it was 7:48 pm. He didn't want to go home because only that explained his sleeping off on my couch. Luckily, it was Friday.

Big sister called. I told them he was with me, then I hung up. I miss my family.

MICHELLE's. POV

It had been over a month since the incidence. An experience that would forever be etched to my memory. I was supposed to meet Tony, a Facebook friend but he wasn't what I thought he was. I just hated him. He was very mean. And stupid! So I hung up, hoping he would call back like others guys do. 20 minutes went by, no calls. So I sent him a text;

"Its Michelle, so you deleted my number? Come online on whatsapp let's talk.. Please say "Hi" when you get there"

I went on whatsapp to wait and 10mins later he sent a "Hi" with a smile emoji. We got chatting. His chatting personality was different from his real personality. He was all cute, charming, sweet. A shadow of the guy I talked to moments ago. It seemed like he had a multiple personality disorder. That night, I slept with a smile, and a realization that I've become very curious about him.

The next day, Annie came to my house and we chilled, I told her about Blessed.

"Hmmph! You should be careful o! Remember your incident with with Tony?" She warned sternly. She was right. I shouldn't rush into anything now. I felt depressed, that incident would forever haunt me.

"I brought it in myself, so I am to blame for everything." I said as tears welled in my eyes. Lately I had been thinking about Blessed a lot. I sat to watch my movies, just an hour in to the movie my door buzzed. I have no visitor or guest for today, I checked and it was Michelle (See my happiness, my bowels leaped for joy). So I opened the door and she sluggishly came in.

"Hello Young man, how are you doing?", She asked as she hugged me, strategically avoiding the kiss I was going for.

" Am good, just home with movies as usual"

"Go get dressed, I wanna take you out", I laughed, but stopped when I saw she was serious.

"You're serious?", she nodded. "We can stay here and have all the fun". She wasn't budging, so after the long argument, I got dressed in my Blue Puma joggers and a Blue T-shirt and got set to go. I got to the car but she insisted we board a bike.

This girl will not kill me o, that's how I climbed bike and she took me to a Bush bar (God! A date In a bush bar? Shame catch me o). She seemed popular there because everyone was greeting her with her real names.

"You're popular here", I asked still in confusion because I never expected this kind of date. There are lovely classy Restaurants and eateries why a local street bush bar?

"Yeah, My Aunt owns here and I sometimes work here". I just shame.

She ordered two plates of peppersoup with assorted bush meats, I chewed and asked for more but the Girl refused, saying she can only afford one plate.

"I'll pay", I said as I tried to stand and order but she pinned me down to my seat.

"Don't fill yourself with pepper soup, there is something I want you to eat joor", She said as she furrowed her brows trying to mimick my Brow movement.
"By the way, I am the one taking you on a date. Remember?".

So she ordered Eba and Afang soup, in public. She was just eating and ignoring me, No shame at all.

"Seriously, you're worse than Jan Di". I mocked her, but she paid no attention to me but just kept eating.

I've never eating Eba outside my house, and I've never had Afang soup since over 2yrs I left home. It was so delicious. Its been years I had real food like this.
I ate till i was exhausted, I could barely stand up sef. I managed to stand up and we went home. We got home 5pm.

Not yet inside the house sef I couldn't hold it again, I in flash gripped her and pinned her to the wall, with our lips locked, our breathing balancing each other. She let the bags down as I lifted her to the couch; I tend to develop super strength when it comes to this moment, don't judge me!
While she lied on her back, I could practically eat her and I was going to anyway. My hands slid beneath her top and bra and I cupped those firm boobs, while she helped me removed my shirt. I offed her top but the bra was stubborn because it was kinda too tight, I just snapped the thing joor and went back to duty. The rest was history, I just slept off!

When I woke up it was 10:57pm, she was gone but my pot was filled with Afang soup. I so much love Michelle o.
I called her line but no pick maybe she was asleep, so I sent a goodnight text and I got a reply mins later asking me to come online on whatsapp where we chat till I slept off.

What a day!

The next morning I felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen, I thought it was hunger so I just brushed my teeth and took bread and ate with milk. As I was walking to the bedroom to sleep, my sight got blurry, my heart beat got slower. I could hear the pounding of my slowing heartbeat as I fell to the ground.

God what's going on? As I closed my eyes, pictures of mum, my siblings and finally dad came up.

Will I die without making up with dad? Is this my end?
With that thought in mind, I blacked out.

The wedding was epic! When I got back I heard news that Tony fucking Kreed was killed in a shoot out with a rival group a year after I left.

Few month later, Michelle got pregnant; So am officially gonna be a Daddy!!
