pig farmers in the house, I need your tutorial. I am new in piggery. I got some winners in February this year. They were born in January 10. I am feeding them well. However, I thought by 6 months old they should start showing heat. My question is at what age does a pig start showing heat? There is one male pig with them thinking that will aid the heat. but nothing, though they are of the same age. please your professional tutorial is coveted.1. when will they show heat? 2. should I separate the male from them now or keep them together? thanks.

Go through the agric sevtion; there's a thread on pigs and it will help you alot.
Pigs should begin showing heat by 6 months but dont cross until the 2nd or even 3rd heat so they are fully matured . I hope you know how to identitify a pig in heat.
Remove the male so they dont start crossing prematurely.

I hope your male and female pigs arnt from same parent.

yes, there is inbreeding. The offspring could be small.
