Yaba college of Technology being the first higher institution in Nigeria, third in Africa and twenty-seventh in the world is indeed a place for rich academic culture and heritage. This is why we pride ourself as "Yaba the GREAT"http://www.yabatech.edu.ng/Yabatech%20-%20About%20us.html This is one crazy, ridiculous claim by our Yoruba friends |

SEFAGO:Buahahah!. typo ko, programmer ni. People, including those I know, had called them on phone several months back regarding this claim. Guess the answer ''they said they stand by their claim'', as the claim still remains on that website several months after they were asked about it. Eeediots. |

Mekusxyz: Okoromado, Wondered why it did not occur to you that it could be a typo of some sort. Nobody will intentionally claim that. You are so absorbed with Yoruba affairs that your are becoming an embarrassment to your people. I am beginning to think you may not be Ibo, just some confused person from Planet of the Apes |

Moderator: Why have you allowed Mekusxxx, Sefago and Akingbemaru to hijack this section?. The trio have held us hostage for 2 days now with their igbo/Yoruba supremacy fiasco.. The annoying thing is there is nothing good about these two ethnic groups. |

reporter?: It is not a typo. Poeple have talked to them about it and they still left it there. Such is the nature of Yoruba claim, like they claim Oduduwa fell from the sky (with a big thud, I guess) |

@ Poster Is Yabatech no longer a federal government institution? When was it converted to a yoruba school? |

Mekusxyz: That story about Oduduwa & his chain is bullshit everyone knows. The same cock-and-bull tale you Igbos tell us about having come from Jewish line or some such shi.t |

They also claimed that Lt Col F Fajuyi volunteered to die with Gen. Ironsi. They also claimed that Awolowo built Lagos. They also claimed that they are the best educated bunch in European civilization. They claimed to be only natives to the territory later known as Nigeria via Oduduwa descending from the sky. |
