Because that is their job. Even if the robber cant afford a lawyer, the Government will provide one for him. He has a right to be defended.

Initially he thought I was Yoruba hence the reason for my defending the lawyer. but when he found out that I was a full blooded Igbo guy, it then perhaps dawned to him that the tribalism stuff I accused him of was actually true.

His course with Evans cases is on monetary reward nothing more he has no better defense for him, the accused had given congressional statement, not one one not two.. any judge that do anyhow will surely see any how..

My point is as humans, we have conscience. The lawyer has suppressed his conscience to proceed to defend such a person. The judiciary at the moment is having serious integrity issues and this lawyer at the moment is not helping. Yes Evans hasn't been charged but mind you there is a subsisting court order to keep him for 3 months before being charged.

Not his fault anyway evans is still alive. Hadn't been he has been lynched....
