WOW, CAN THIS HAPPEN IN NIGERIA?

THIS LADY MISS HELENA FROM USA THAT WAS CAUGHT STEALING IN THE SUPERMARKET AND THE POLICE WERE CALLED TO ARREST HER.

THE SURPRISE OF ALL IS WHEN THE POLICEMAN ARRIVED AT THE SCENE AND ASKED MISS HELENA
"WHAT DID YOU STEAL FROM THE SHOP"?

MISS HELANA REPLIED: "FIVE EGGS TO FEED MY HUNGRY CHILDREN".

THE POLICE-OFFICER TOOK HER BACK TO THE SUPERMARKET AND BOUGHT HER FOODSTUFFS TO FEED HERSELF AND HER KIDS.

MISS HELENA STARTS TO CRY AND ASKED THE OFFICER: "SIR THIS IS TOO MUCH YOU DID FOR ME".

THE OFFICER REPLIED: "SOMETIMES WE SHOULDN'T APPLY THE LAW BUT MUST APPLY THE HUMANITY".

Dats humanity on display,..

For naija here,.. we for don dey see unclad pictures of the lady lying down on the floor, with belt marks all over her face and body...,

...ehen,..with dozen pairs of slippered male feet standing triumphantly all over and around her like they just conquered an aggressive leviathan,..dat is hours b4 a police van finally coms to bundle her off for more humiliation.

I don't support thieving tho. A Lil bit of hardwork and u wudnt have to thief or beg to feed!

No because Nigerian policeman himself is owned months of wages and arrears sometimes. This policeman has a good job (probably on 4000 dollars a month) while the black lady live on food vouchers to survive.

It won't happen in Nigeria.

Because nobody will call the police to the kind of scene, let alone asking her questions and being humane with the lady.
Even if police eventually got to the seen, the lady wouldn't be able to talk again, let alone explaining her reason for the theft, after the mob don almost lynch her.

Some police are sense of humanity in Nigeria, but the situation wouldn't allow them to exercise it.
