An MP in Australia has addressed parliament while breastfeeding her baby, admitting that she moved a motion only moment before her daughter moved her own motion. In a first for the nation, larissa water, a green MP, addressed the chamber. she was speaking about black lung disease, a condition affecting coal miner while feeding her baby, a 14 week old named Alia joy. The three month old baby previously made history in May after she became the first baby to be breastfeed in Australia parliament and has become a regular attendee at Australia Senate or upper house. The MP decision to speak while feeding appeared to be warmly welcomed and was greeted with smile in the chamber. MT : your work or career is not enough excuse for you to abandon your matrimonial duties.

She probably just wanted to boost her political profile. Breastfeeding her child isn't something special. Save us the gimmick. |
