I dont know why the Nigerian media keep feeding viewers with mediocrity. That Jenifa character is long overdue. The show lacks vibrance. They've done over 3 movies and 2 seasons of soaps with that character. Can't they be more creative?
Is a flashy yoruba lady who can't speak good English the only Nigerian character she and her team can come up with? Abegii

To be sincere, that fan actually gave jenifa a good concept. .she can be aswell funny with fairly okay English. As for mr bean, he's character's got impaired voice while jenifa who has been in d city for awhile, rolling with big n educated dudes should have her spoken English Improve..

Wanted to agree with the guy but when I saw her response I had a different thought. That true that bad English is the character's selling point and you don't go changing things like that it could make the show boring. Its like asking homer Simpson to stop saying his catch phrase 'd'oh' or asking Bart to be a truly good boy. The bad English is what makes her Jenifer take that away and its just something else

I still don't understand why some Nairalanders are always quick to tell someone to mind his/her business. It's not like he asked her a personal question or something. How was he not minding his business here?

I think her reply is stupid.
Mr bean is a mime and of course jenifer should be speaking fairly good English. I don't understand why jenifa will live with a graduate who always correct her, goes to a lot of places were people speak good English and even use an iPhone but can't even improve grammatically. That shows that jenifer is so dumb. One of the reason I stopped watching jenifer's diary. It even affected the way I spelt Jennifer
