Depends on the datasheet of the cell but there are standard voltage range I charge my lifepo4 24v at 27.6/27v bulk and float respectively, divide that by 8 to get voltage per cell

Not sure it is that straight forward. AGM is less forgiving with wrong charging configuration mistakes unlike GEL.

Are you sure GEL is not worse off?AGM depends on quality but I am also thinking LiFePO4 now just that the complexity and cost is a huge consideration.But really cost wise it comes to almost same thing as AGM considering AGM/GEL allows only 50% DOD compared to LIFePO4 that can go as high as 80-90%.So technically to have 4800 watts of AGM you need a bank of 9600watts which is 4 units of 200 ah battery @ 12volts.Average price of good AGM is 125k*4= 500k while I am sure with that amount you can get a lithium battery of 4800watts

Agm can survive for longer periods of wrong charging, and damage ain't irreversible if you catch it on time and are tech savvy

Yeah, opening and adding distilled water.
The wahala is knowing the correct qty to add.. its guess work. Add little at a time, desulphate/pulse for 2 days and observe if any improvements.

Agm is absorbed glass mat... So the electeolyte is a soaked mat. Wrong charging drys out this mat.

If the battery is valve regulated as well, your chances of succes are slimmer.. as opening the battery distorts the fine pressure balance wch aids in recombination of gases within the battery

For the reputable brands,you just have to trust what you see written on it or their datasheet if there is any.For other brands,you can never tell because they just stick/print anything on it.

I know Felicity SMF are gel which is why most users complain it's not good by because GEL batteries do not tolerate abuse.

We back to this grp buy thingy.. �... Anyway, to those not very experienced they need to know that these cells are not drop in replacement for sla batteries. You need to balance them and then connect a bms oh.

That said, I eant to suggest if we can pay via paypal, because i think exchange for paypal may not be as expensive as normal USD. I might be wrong.
