Horrifying footage shows moment bride's helicopter crashes on way to her wedding

Blood-curdling screams can be heard from the four victims of the helicopter crash in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in footage released as part of the investigation.
Rosemare do Nascimento Silva, was killed in December last year along with the pilot, her brother and a photographer.

The bride died while wearing a white wedding dress and veil.

Her fiance, Udirley Damasceno, was left waiting at the wedding venue, unaware of his bride’s plans or the crash itself.
Carlos Eduardo Batista, one of the organisers, told Brazilian media, Globo: “All brides have a dream and hers was to arrive by helicopter to their wedding without anyone knowing.”

The groom was told the horrific news at the altar where he should have been marrying the love of his life.



There were 300 guests hoping to see the couple tie the knot and only six knew about the helicopter surprise.

The helicopter crashed just a mile from the wedding venue in a forest.

Although eight fire engines rushed to the scene, the four victims could not be saved.

The pilot was named as Peterson Pinheiro, and the brother of the bride, Silvano Nascimento da Silva. The pregnant photographer was Nayla Cristina Neves.

Official investigators believe that the footage shows possible mistakes by the pilot during the final moments of the flight.

Wedding organiser Carlos Eduardo Batista, said: “Every bride has a dream to do something amazing on their big day and for Rosemere, hers was to turn up at her wedding in a helicopter without anyone knowing beforehand.”
