I dont know what Ancelotti was thinking. He played Alex against Burnley's small Darren Fletcher and Fletcher done him. Now he's playing Carvalho against Hull. . . and we have no one with the physical profile to handle Altidore. . . Altidore is killing Terry out there. Surely Carvalho should have played against Burnley and Alex against Hull. |

Pretty amateurish from Ancellotti. Drogba has no business on the field, his goal notwithstanding. The ball is not sticking up front, and his movement or non movement off the ball is aiding the Hull defence. And he has just fallen for the biggest fallacy in all of football: Pack all the attack minded players into the field and they will surely get you a goal. . . . . Never mind they are likely to get in each others way. |
