Though this African soccer legend is dead, must his memory be wiped off from emerging football lovers, only adults in the game know how great the Nigeria goalscoring record holder with 37 goals.
For those that don't know the exploit of the late two times African's footballer of the year, he scored Nigeria's first ever World Cup goal, won two African Nations cup, where he was highest goalscorer .

Why on earth would the memory of such a man be erased from our football, all because our football governing body has been so useless not to recognize their late heroes, no wonder our football stars are no longer committed to international assignment. And it not difficult to engrave this legend in Nigeria football, just name the Nigeria football league highest goal Award after him.

Even his own state has not honoured him to the extent that his burial ground is as bad as we to dump refuse. If the federal government are not ready to paint well the legend from your state, why not refresh is memory in the mind of the people, either by having football competitions in his name, or name the ILORIN TOWNSHIP STADIUM after him.

My opinion though might not be well explained, but think well on this legendary life and you will discover he deserves more than he was given.
Shalom
