Hey guys,

I got a job offer in the UAE (to work in Dubai, JLT), I am currently working on my documents. The salary is 5 figures, to be honest with you I know I can get way better offers in other countries, but I picked this one because I liked the job description and position.

The problem is I came across this article that made FP today https://www.nairaland.com/3921277/untold-story-dubai-photos-dubai, it does not say anything good about the place, and now I am scared and having seconds thoughts, I have never been to Dubai or really known anyone that lives there, everybody who I have spoken to say the salary is good and that I will be a big boy there, but I am not certain anymore. I can't disclose the salary here just so that I can get your accurate estimate, because it seems the mistake I have made is telling people how much and then asking how well, but now I need to know how much and how well.

Please help Nairalanders, lalasticlala, seun, I need maximum contribution, FP.
