The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a gang of five men that allegedly gang-raped a college student in Ondo State. The victim was a student of the Department of History and English.

The incident was reported to have taken place outside of the school campus. The gang of five took turns in raping her.

The suspects were reported to have had the wicked act recorded on video and threatened the victim with uploading it online if she ever thought of reporting the incident to anyone.

The Ondo State Police Commissioner, Mrs. Hilda Harrison, while parading the suspects, said the victim had been taken to Ile-Ife, Osun State where she was receiving treatment, declaring that the suspects would be charged to court.

She said,

“The victim was raped and during the act, one of the suspects Adetuyi Adekunle did the video recording of the heinous crime as they took on their victim one after the other and later abandoned her to go with a threat that they would use charms on her if she revealed the incident to anyone.”

Continuing she said…

“The case was reported to the school (ACE) authority and the suspect were arrested, the case has been transferred to the Department of Criminal Investigation.”

They were paraded on Wednesday by the Police Headquarters Command in Alagbaka, Akure,the state capital.

Well done to her for not allowing their treats to frighten her into keeping quiet while they go on to their next victim. By speaking up, not only have you ensured they are brought to book, you have saved many women out there from becoming victims to this animals.

It’s really sad, five animals gang rape a person, record the dehumanising ordeal you all subjected her to and then threaten to upload it on the internet if she dares to tell or report it.

Well, this gang of slowpoke underestimated the victim! well done to the young woman, seriously what more shame can she not take, you already shamed her, when you gang raped her, she knew she had nothing to loose, the worst already happened!

I hope they all get a sentence that will keep them behind bars for a very long time, that by they time they get out, the reminder of their lives will be worthless.

I hope other women will emulate the courage of this woman, speak out, report abuse and get as many rapist, child molesters and abusers off our society, helping to make our society a better and a safer place, not just for us, for future generations.
