For the sake of her honour

the world ! a fascinating ground
when at first I beheld the statute of my woman
she is so beautiful, without blemish she stood gazing
gazing at me? my mind played off not to think afar,
oh mother earth I have offended not,
why did you choose to punish with an illusion ?
when I came back to my senses she is gone
I became perturbed for letting her go,
I should have done better rather than going off
l pray you father to bless me with that vision of that beauty queen, even for a moment,
not for my sake but for the sake of her honour.
