Apart from the fact that traveling by air is way more expensive than traveling by land ,what else do you know ?

We would be looking at some interesting facts about air travel you probably never knew .

2.

3.
A commercial flight flies at an average speed of 800 Km/h

4.
A Boeing 747 is made up of about 6 million parts !

One third of all the airports in the world are in the USA.

8.
Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA) was built during World War II. Chai !

9.

Dear Sir, that your first fact is very wrong, the longest flight in the world is from Doha to Auckland with a total distance of 14,535km(9,032 miles) angry angry
lol. Even geography would flag this because doha is like 4 hours to India and India is relatively close to Australia.

Let me put it this way; Doha is in the East just like Australia. Dallas is in the far West!

There's different between no stop flight and flight distance wether nonstop or not.

Auckland to Doha is the longest non-stop slight. Meanwhile, Dallas to Australia is the longest route for any flight. And the OP mentioned " by distance".

It is a double Decker Airbus with the business class+first class at the upper cabin and economy on the ground floor. It is very roomy and the entertainment screen will pass for the mini TV screen. They only take you from Dubai to countries like England, USA and some other developed countries. From Lagos to Dubai, it's still the regular Boeing 737 or 777.....whichever self

OP: Your post is so enlightening.

I'll also add that:

- The Murtala Mohammed International Airport is presently the only one in Nigeria to have more than one runway

- No airport in Nigeria can accommodate the A380

- In 2011, Nigeria achieved total radar coverage of her airspace for the first time ever. The Total Radar Coverage of Nigeria (TRACON) project was originally begun by the Obasanjo administration in 2003.

- London Gatwick airport is the busiest single-runway commercial airport in the world. The second busiest is the San Diego International airport.

- With a flight time of over 7 hours, the flight time between New York's JFK airport and Honolulu airport (in Hawaii, USA) is amongst the longest domestic flights in the world.

Take a look at this Virgin Nigeria Advert that was aired a few years back...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oETELI2-e38

I still can't believe I was staring, and viewing this adverts and still did not understand what the verbal cues were about. And strangely its kind of ambiguous.... because I don't know which to focus on as the message... Is it the Virgin airline, sex or virginity... Eesh!!

.. I mean, it starts with the flirts (Oh the flirts), day-dreamy-ing and then the shocker!

*Touching the right spots*, lol

Yep with all the puns intended...
