Lagos lawmaker dies two-week after 50th birthday

The Lagos State House of Assembly was on Tuesday enveloped with grief few minutes after information filtered in that a lawmaker representing Eti Osa State Constituency 1, Kazeem Alimi, is died.

Alimi, a two time lawmaker, until his death was the Chairman of House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

The late lawmaker, who celebrated his 50th birthday two weeks ago, died after brief illness, a development that could affect his party, All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos Chapter’s performance at council election scheduled for Saturday.

I might not be a staunch supporter of the present government but I DISAGREE WITH THE WAY WE ATTRIBUTE BAD/UNFORTUNATE OCCURRENCE TO HIM knowing fully he has bin giving the mandate. We just making ourselves prone to inferiority to the outside world, with the level of hatred/disrespect we ve gat for our leader. Y not chill and wait do the right thing come 2019 . #peace. OLA.
