For Victims of the recent flooding in Suleja and Kaduna road area of Niger state , their lives will Neva remain d same again... Lives and Properties in their millions were lost..
And when both d state and federal govt announced disbursements of funds and relief materials for victims of d flood, ppl met such with d usual skepticism associated with govt interventions as it has become a tradition for such to always end up in d pockets of those in charge...

Earlier this week was the first batch of distribution of d interventions to victims of d flood, however what transpired goes to show exactly everything dats wrong with dis country.

Most of d names of victims compiled by either NEMA officials or representatives of d district heads of some affected areas were outrightly replaced with names of friends families and ghost names.... D names called out were clearly one sided as more than 98% of d names were "their ppl" or rather indigenous names and even had instances of multiple going in for one name. D distribution itself was a sham as most of d relief materials were seen being diverted even as ppl watched... Yet at d end of d distribution most of d materials were seen being loaded into private vehicles and bikes ... Generally at d end of d sham exercise #7000 was distributed on d first day with no verification at all even though most ppl affected (non indigenes) didn't get it while some thers were lucky to get foodstuffs like measures of corn , semolina and wrapper...

NB.. Bundles of roofing sheets and cement were seen together with other material even though they weren't distributed..
